Many people may be familiar with the fact that people are able to earn money through their own blogs or websites. However, many people are unable to understand how a website providing free information would be able to earn money.

When people go to popular blogs such as Xiaxue.blogspot.com, they will notice that they would not have to pay a single cent to view the content of the blog, yet Wendy(or affectionately known as Xiaxue) is able to earn SGD$ 4000-6000 a month!

So, where does the money comes from? Thats where the beauty of advertisement comes in! Advertisers pays bloggers money so that their products/services would be shown infront of the readers of a certain blog.

The advertisers pay for advertisement based on several methods such as:

Advertisement is one of the best way to earn money online now, as it is a win-win situation for everybody. Bloggers get paid for their effort, Advertisers are able to get their product/service infront of a large group of audience and Readers get to enjoy useful and free information from the blogs.

If you still think that you can only become rich by selling products/services, think again. The multi-billion company Google, earns all their money through selling advertisements alone. They are able to earn billions of dollars not by charging its users, but by providing a free search engine that allows its users to access the information they want quickly.

In return, they are able to get repeated visits from their satisfied customers. This causes the amount of people going to their website to increase, and thus advertisers would be attracted to place their advertisement on Google.

Advertising is looking to be the best form of ways to earn money online now. I would soon be reviewing all the different types of advertising companies out there, to see which are the best that you guys can put on your blog. If you are a newbie to creating your own blog, I believe it would be best that you start with blogger due to its ease and flexibility it has over the other blogging softwares.

So, how do we go about starting our new blog?

1. Go to Blogger.com
2. Click on the Orange Sign Up Button
3. Input your personal particulars
4. You will be brought to a page called the Dash Board
   
5. Click on the 'Create a blog' button
6. Input the required information
7. Tadah! You have your newly created blog!

In order for you to start posting on your blog, click on the 'Posting' Tab followed by the 'Create a post' Tab. A text box will appear, and you will be able to input any information that you would like your readers to read about. There you have it, your first ever blog post!

Using a blog is so much easier and less time consuming than creating a website, as you do not have to bother about all the difficult stuff like creating a new webpage, designing the page using html or hosting pictures at Photobucket.

All you have to do, is to think up about what content you would like to post on your blog, and Blogger would take care of the creation of the page and picture hosting for you. Ain't it simple?
